Use these named places as region clusters while tracking Beacon progress. One place can contain multiple markers, so a row is not proof of exactly one Beacon.
Map, Beacon, fast travel, map station and fragment
- Map: the world view that displays supported marker categories and named places.
- Beacon: a world checkpoint and the infrastructure used for discovered fast-travel destinations.
- Fast travel: travel between discovered destinations in the Beacon/map network; confirm the destination list before leaving a hub.
- Map station: an interaction point for revealing map information. Its successful interaction state is separate from Beacon cleansing.
- Map fragment: a collectible map piece, not a map station or Beacon. The checked beta/Advanced Access sources align on 11 fragments, but that alignment does not prove a complete launch route.
Open Map defaults to M on keyboard and D-Pad Left on controllers.
All Beacons achievement scope
So Fresh, So Clean requires cleansing all Beacons and exposes a 46 counter. The underlying map data exposes more raw Beacon markers than 46, so raw markers, named places and achievement progress are not interchangeable:
| Scope | Count | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Achievement counter | 46 | Track actual So Fresh, So Clean progress. |
| Named place anchors | 27 | Organize a region-by-region sweep using the table above. |
| Raw Beacon markers | More than 46 | Do not treat this raw data as the achievement total. |
The checked data does not expose reliable individual names for all 46 achievement-counted Beacons. Track the 46 in-game counter while sweeping the 27 named region clusters instead of assigning invented Beacon names.
Hall of Murmurs
The supported Hall of Murmurs route starts from Castigator’s Keep and uses an underground lever and elevator sequence. Reaching the exit/elevator state confirms completion of the documented route; optional detours and unverified hidden items are outside this reference.
