How to Parry in Mortal Shell 2: Default Controls, Seals and Slayer Seal

Default controls

Default Parry is Q on keyboard and mouse. Default Parry is Left Bumper on Xbox. Default Parry is L1 on PlayStation. Default Parry is L1 on Steam Deck.

Default Dodge is Space on keyboard and mouse. Default Dodge is B on Xbox. Default Dodge is Circle on PlayStation. Default Harden is Left Alt on keyboard and mouse. Default Harden shares Left Bumper/L1 with Parry-family actions on controllers.

Controls can be rebound; the inputs above are the default bindings.

Seal-based actions

Infinite Seal grants Parry. Untarnished Seal grants Guard. Vatra’s Seal grants Harden. Slayer Seal grants Gloomslayer and Slayer Punch.

Slayer Seal and achievements

Equipping Slayer Seal blocks all 53 achievements on that save. Picking up Slayer Seal does not block achievements. The HUD shows Achievements Blocked after equipping it.

Riposte, Break Damage and Slayer Punch

Sidearms can deal Break Damage under Slayer Seal. A broken enemy can be exposed to a Riposte. Slayer Seal restores some Health and Resolve on a Riposte. Slayer Punch can automatically Riposte an enemy it breaks.
